and the handyman who comes to build a new bathroom and perhaps fulfil
a few fantasies.

Don't Drink The Milk (1 Act)
In an old folks home the lives of two timid inmates, Mary and Kathleen,
are transformed by the arrival of Pearl, a lively old lady with
spirit and imagination. Bridie, the bossy nursing auxiliary is not
amused.
A bitter-sweet comedy about the transforming power of imagination,
this play won the OZ Whitehead competition and was short-listed
for the Fingal Scribe competition.

Leonora finds her ambitious niece has stolen the plot of her own
first novel, and her lover as well. She plots revenge in the comfy
family home where her sweet-natured sister now lives.
Written initially for stage, performed at CAT club in Cork, 1999
and subsequently rewritten for radio and broadcast on Anna Livia
in 2001.
